Buddy has been married for 50+ years to his spouse, Sharon, who assists Buddy in most venue events. They have four children, ten grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Buddy is a Vietnam-era veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy (1972-1976). He was an active member of the PBA, but he is now retired. He earned his B.S. in Allied Health Sciences from UW-Milwaukee (1984), with certifications in Mediation and Paralegal Studies from Lakewood College (2012), a certificate in Life Coaching from UDEMY (2014-recertification-2019), and his M.A. in Human Services Counseling and Executive Leadership from Liberty University (2014). Buddy is currently ABD with a Doctorate of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University (2015 to present; all coursework completed, focus on cross-cultural competency and conflict management). Buddy added a certified trainer competency for the Center for Teaching Effectiveness in November 2018. He is a member of the Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators (2012-present) (mcafm.org), a past Ethics Co-chair for MCAFM (2013-2014), and a past President of the Doctoral Learners Cohort at GCU (2017-2018). Buddy is the Owner and Founder of BCT Mediations PLUS (2012 to present), the Co-Founder of Path2Knowing Academy (2024 to present), and the Co-Founder and Inspirational Leader of Fighters for Hope, a 501c3 non-profit (2023 to present). He is also COO of the Brokenness to Healing Foundation (2018 to present), a 501c3 non-profit working with disadvantaged youth through after-school mentoring programs. He serves as an advisory board member for multiple domestic companies.
Buddy is the creative mind behind the Slippery Slope series and the author of Book I, Contemporary Society Through the Lens of Applied Ethics, Book II, Contemporary Society Through the Lens of Applied Morals, and Books Three and Four, the companion pair: The Optimal Journey to Oneself. He brands himself as "The Positive Social Change Agent Pro." He has proven optimal competency as a Keynote Speaker and Program Presenter (Conflict Management, Parenting Dynamics, Cross-Cultural Topics), with one notable global invitation to Da Nang Vietnam in November 2017 and invited to speak on cultural topics at the IIRP World Conference in Bethlehem, PA-October 2019. In addition, Buddy routinely appears on the Impact of Educational Leadership podcast hosted by Isaiah Drone III.
